Travel sub-category
The Travel sub-category in General Goods and Services manages several whole-of-government agreements that support the domestic and international travel requirements of Queensland Government, including:
- departments and agencies
- statutory authorities
- government bodies
- other eligible customers.
These agreements collectively form the QTravel Program.
Customers of the QTravel Program have access to a range of agreements, including:
- Travel management company services
- An online booking tool
- Accommodation broker services
- Air travel agreements with various airlines
- International travel insurance
- Emergency traveller assistance services.
The Travel sub-category also includes standing offer arrangements for short-term motor vehicle rental (passenger and commercial vehicles), and air charter and aerial work services.
