Professional services

The Professional services sub-category in General Goods and Services manages the whole-of-government professional services arrangements including finance, audit, economics, human resources, management, policy, agile project/program management, procurement, probity and legal services.

Legal Services is co-managed by Department of Energy and Public Works (EPW) and Department of Justice and Attorney General (DJAG) with EPW acting as the principal and DJAG as panel manager.

Professional services

The Professional services SOA (QGP0050-18) is divided into four tranches and is in place until 28 February 2025.

Suppliers have pre-negotiated maximum daily rates (based on an 8-hour day), terms and conditions, reporting and insurance requirements.

The four tranches include:

  • Tranche 1 (Finance, Audit & Economics Services) - QGP0050-18 (T1)
  • Tranche 2 (Human Resources Services) - QGP0050-18 (T2)
  • Tranche 3 (Management, Policy & Agile Project/Program Management Services) - QGP0050-18 (T3)
  • Tranche 4 (Procurement & Probity Services) - QGP0050-18 (T4)

Periodic reviews are conducted on this SOA to assess whether it continues to meet the needs and requirements of agencies and the priorities of the government.
