Social Services (Procurement) Category Council

The SSCC oversees and directs activities in relation to social services spend and activities across the category and common processes for member agencies within the category, it will agree and govern spend for the social services profile and endorse related category plans.

  • Queensland Health (QH)

Meeting dates

The category council meets on a monthly basis.  The meeting schedule for the remainder of 2021 is being determined.

Meetings may occur outside or these dates as necessary.

Decision making authority

The SSCC relies on the cooperation and agreement of member agencies, and does not have authority to make decisions that commit or direct the use of agency resources.

Decisions that require the direction and commitment of resources are referred to member agencies for authorisation.

The SSCC will engage with industry through existing networks as needed.
