Attraction and retention incentives (Directive 07/14)
Summary
This directive made under the Public Service Act 2008 continues to apply unless it is repealed or replaced under the Public Sector Act 2022. It only applies to public sector entities that it applied to prior to 1 March 2023.
To provide for the use of attraction and retention incentives in the Queensland public service to support the achievement of government priorities.

Attraction and Retention Incentives (ARIs) are designed to help entities attract and retain critical talent within the Queensland public service. To support this process, online forms have been developed to assist entities in preparing and submitting ARI requests in accordance with Directive 07/14. These forms are exclusively available for use by HR practitioners, who can request access by contacting sesteam@psc.qld.gov.au.
