Pay, awards, and agreements
Awards are documents made by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC) that contain minimum terms and conditions of employment.
Certified agreements contain terms and conditions of employment negotiated between an employer and relevant public sector unions on behalf of employees.
Certified agreements which cover most Queensland public sector employees are made by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC).
The State Government Entities Certified Agreement 2015 (otherwise known as the 'Core Agreement') covers approximately 50,000 employees in over 40 organisations.
The 2015-2017 Salary Schedules are available in Appendix of the State Government Entities Certified Agreement 2015.

Queensland Employment Standards
