About

Come along to Queensland Government Procurement's inaugural 'meet and greet' with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-owned businesses on Wednesday 8 May 2024.

The Queensland Government has a target to increase government procurement spend with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to three per cent as stated in the Buy Queensland approach.

Engaging an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business from a common-use supply arrangement (arrangement) will help your agency meet the government target.

Come and have a chat with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses who supply goods and services on the General Goods and Services (GGS) arrangements:

  • temporary and contracted workers
  • creative services
  • market and social research services
  • professional services - hr; management, policy and agile project/program management; finance, audit and economics; procurement and probity
  • uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • legal services
  • air charter and aerial work
  • food and beverage.

Our suppliers are really looking forward to having a chat and to be able to showcase their capabilities and what they can do for your agency.

Drop in anytime between 10.00 and 12 noon.

  • You will need to bring along your government issued ID (Licence, Passport or Government ID)
  • Sample some snacks and beverages supplied by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses from the Queensland Government Food and Beverage Directory.

All Queensland Government representatives/buyers are invited to attend. Please pass this onto anyone in your team who might be interested.
