International Pride Month
1st Jun 2022Every June, Pride Month celebrates the diversity of the LGBTIQ+ community with an opportunity to reflect, celebrate and continue the push towards equality for LGBTIQ+ people.
Asexual Awareness Week (also known as Ace Week) is an international campaign that seeks to educate about asexual, aromantic, demisexual, and grey-asexual experiences.
The week runs annually in the last full week of October and helps to educate and give voice to the often overlooked and misunderstood 'A' in LGBTQIA+. Asexual people are estimated to be approximately 1% of the population.
Activities could include asexual awareness and education within agencies. For example, Aces & Aros - Get Involved With Your Community have a range of resources available. We support employees. #BeYou
