Queensland State Archives (QSA) has been consulting with public authorities since late 2024 on draft Mandatory Standards.
Consultation has closed
The consultation on draft Mandatory Standards has closed. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared feedback.
We are currently reviewing the feedback we received.
What we heard
Information about Round 3 consultation with Chief Executive's feedback will be provided soon.
During Round 2 of the consultation:
- 182 participants attended online sessions
- 116 survey responses were submitted.
Feedback was very positive. It helped us improve the draft Mandatory Standards to better match the records management and business practices in the Queensland public sector.
Next steps
We are reviewing the feedback we received from Round 3 and will use it to finalise the Mandatory Standards and progress the Standards through a regulation.
