Foundational artificial intelligence risk assessment-LITE
The FAIRA LITE is an AI risk management tool to evaluate and manage low-risk AI systems including proofs of concept, trials, and explorations of AI systems.
The FAIRA LITE has two parts:
- Part A allows users to quickly evaluate whether the FAIRA LITE is a suitable risk management methodology for the AI system under consideration, providing resources and guidance.
- Part B provides a step-by-step process to help users explain how the proposed use of an AI system is beneficial, low-risk and risk-managed. It provides guidance, resources, and sample answers.
The FAIRA LITE is a practical AI risk tool to help those exploring AI solutions in Queensland Government. The FAIRA LITE is an adapted version of the Foundational AI risk assessment (FAIRA) for limited, informed, tested AI uses that are not considered high risk.
