Information sharing between agencies

The Open data, information sharing, access and use policy outlines our responsibilities and obligations when sharing information across government, and reporting information to the public.

You must:

• make as much of your information as possible public
• share as much of your information as possible with other government entities where there is a business need
• provide access to as much of your information as you can free of charge or at the lowest cost possible
• apply a consistent information licensing framework using the Creative Commons license whenever copyright is owned by the Queensland Government.
