The firewall management service provides round-the-clock protection against external threats, offering 24/7 monitoring and proactive security analysis to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

We have 3 firewall services:

• Internet Service Provider firewall for internet traffic filtering and protection.
• Data centre network firewall for general use and agency protection.
• CITEC management of agency provided security devices.

Service provides:

• Front line defence against external threats and hostile activity.
• Internet traffic filtering and protection.
• 24 hours a day, 7 days a week incident monitoring and proactive analysis of potential security flaws by Queensland government security specialists.

The following eligible agencies and related bodies can access this service:

• Queensland Government agencies
• statutory bodies
• local government
• government owned corporations.
