  3. Agencies must consider ‘identified’ core and common solutions when implementing business capabilities.
  4. Agencies must not implement ‘restricted’ solutions.
  5. ‘Mandated’ and ‘endorsed’ core and common solutions must be approved for whole-of-government use with a concept of operations.

Domain names policy

This policy outlines the requirements for Queensland Government departments in the registration and management of domain names for agency internet resources

Requirements

  1. Departments must register domain names.
  2. Registration of domain names by agencies will be in accordance with the Domain name registration and management standard.
  3. Agencies must manage the impact on domain names after a machinery-of-government change and arrange transfer of ownership within 3 months.
