Have your say provides a central point for people to help shape government decisions that affect them and their communities. This ensures transparency and encourages participation in government decision-making processes.

Publish a digital community engagement on Have your say

Email contentonline@qld.gov.au with:

  • the title of the consultation
  • a clear, action-oriented description of the consultation activity using active voice
  • an image that represents the topic of the consultation (dimensions must be 492 x 322 pixels)
  • the URL of the consultation overview page
  • the closing date of the consultation.

The Digital Customer (SSQ) content team may edit the title and description to follow the web writing and style guide.

Department digital community engagement obligations

The Digital community engagement policy states that departments must list their engagement on the central listing on qld.gov.au (Have your say), as well as on their own department website.
