The employee number in myGov is different from your actual employee number. It’s a unique identifier that your payroll system uses to group earnings from multiple income sources. For example, if you have two part-time positions, or if you have a full-time position and on occasion undertake a casual or auxiliary role, it groups these earnings together for income statement purposes.
You may know this number as your WAMI (Who Am I) number.
There is no change to your usual employee number.
