If you're a Queensland Government employee who wants to learn how to apply human-centered design (HCD) to your projects, complete the following questions to express interest in attending our training.
This is a free 2-day workshop by the Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group within the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy. The workshop is designed to build capability in human-centred design across the public sector.
You'll learn how to:
create innovative solutions for customer problems using the Queensland Government three-diamond model
conduct customer interviews and synthesise learning to uncover insights and identify opportunities for design
bring your ideas to life using prototypes to test with customers to identify promising solutions to implement in your workplace.
This creative approach to problem solving will challenge you to get out into the real world and test your ideas so you can arrive at exciting, unexpected solutions tailored to the needs of our customers.
To express interest in HCD Fundamentals training, you must be demonstrating the customer 1st behaviours in the workplace.
You and your supervisor will receive an emailed copy of your expression of interest, and we'll contact you regarding dates of the next training course.
SSO is an authentication process that allows you to access multiple services and applications with one username and password.
Most Queensland Government agencies use SSO. If your agency doesn't use SSO, contact your agency IT service desk and let them know you would like to use it.
Most government-owned corporates, non-government organisations, and statutory authorities do not currently use SSO. If your organisation doesn't use SSO, contact your IT service desk and let them know you would like to use it.
