The Government Information Technology Contracting (GITC) Framework will be replaced by a new framework before the end of the financial year 2016/17.
You can choose whether to use the GITC or the new framework during its introductory period.

Accreditation for ICT suppliers
We recommend government buyers use suppliers that hold QAssure industry certification and be accredited under the Government Information Technology Contracting (GITC) Framework.
QAssure accreditation is an independent assurance provided by the Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland that the ICT business is commercially sound.
GITC accreditation is an agreement by suppliers to use the GITC Framework terms and conditions. This is managed by the Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation.

You are encouraged to contact GITC Services instead of individual GITC-accredited suppliers for information on their:
- Part 1 documentation, including Deeds of Agreement and Schedule A2(A)s
- Insurance or WorkCover certificates
- GITC accredited modules.
