Queensland Shared Services collects and manages personal information in line with the Information Privacy Act 2009 as described on this page.

Emails

Our privacy principles apply to emails. Our internet service provider or information technology staff may monitor email traffic for system troubleshooting and maintenance purposes only.

We use analytics to gather anonymous information about visitors. When you visit our applications, systems and websites, your browser automatically sends anonymous information to us. We analyse this data to improve your experience and make sure our services are useful.

Queensland Shared Services collects personal information as authorised under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 to manage and process financial transactions and reporting on behalf of your agency. Your information may be shared with other government agencies and their contracted service providers for management of these activities.

Queensland Shared Services collects personal information as required under the Public Sector Act 2022 to manage your pay, allowances and job entitlements, and for workforce reporting purposes. Your information might be shared with other government agencies and their contracted service providers to help process pay and entitlements.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and will not be disclosed to third parties unless authorised or required by law.
