Opportunities for suppliers

The Queensland Government aims to make it easier for suppliers and industry to find information about our procurement opportunities by developing Forward Procurement Pipelines.

We have compiled a Consolidated Forward Procurement Pipeline (PDF, 207KB) to improve industries visibility of upcoming procurement opportunities.

Please note: procurement activities identified are indicative only, subject to change and may not all necessarily go to market.

Procurement activities are organised around 6 category groups:

We are continuing to work on a more coordinated government approach to the release of procurement opportunities.

Transport Infrastructure and Services

The Transport Infrastructure and Services category group covers all goods and services used in the construction, maintenance and operation of government-supported transport infrastructure and transport-related services.

Building Construction and Maintenance

The Building Construction and Maintenance category group includes spend in the areas of building contractors, trade contractors, specialists, building operations, materials and equipment, and property and real estate.

Social Services

The Social Services category group relates to government services provided for the benefit of the community.

The Medical category group relates to medical-related procurement activity across the entire Queensland public health system and agencies involved in medical-related procurement.

Queensland Health is developing a forward procurement schedule for this category group.

Information and Communication Technology

The ICT category group includes products and services used to process information and communicate by electronic means. This includes software, hardware, ICT services and telecommunications.

General Goods and Services

The General Goods and Services category group includes general, tangible and consumable products (goods) and services, for example, office supplies, contingent labour, professional services, utilities and travel.
