November 2016 update—Inclusion Champions of Change

  • Completed the All Roles Flex pilot evaluation, which indicated traditional, inflexible approaches to work are failing to meet employee and business needs. The report will be available in early 2017. 
  • Established a steering committee to oversee Recommendation 36 of the Review of the Industrial Relations framework in Queensland to initiate a general review of pay equity across the public sector, analyse the impact of gender concentration, and undertake an annual audit process. 
  • Agencies have started to explore opportunities to establish LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex or queer) working groups.
  • Thirteen agencies are working together towards White Ribbon Australia workplace accreditation to further support employees affected by domestic and family violence and promote respectful workplace cultures.
