The Public Service Commission (PSC) and Chief Executive Leadership Board have once again partnered with the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) to provide access to an exciting, targeted executive leadership development program for 2021.
With a new-look format, the following cohorts will have access to a series of online masterclasses, keynote presentations and panel discussions based on the ANZSOG Future public sector leaders’ series and aligned to the sectors’ Leadership competencies for Queensland:
- Directors’-General (DGs)
- Deputy Directors’-General (DDGs)
- senior executive service (SES)
- regional networks.
Deputy Directors’-General and nominated regional networks will also be invited to a series of bespoke group coaching sessions (learning groups) designed to support collaborative learning within different contexts.
Masterclasses
- Targeted to DGs, DDGs, SES (and equivalent) and regional networks
- Sponsored placements available to Leadership Board agencies with allocations based on the size of SES and equivalent cohort
- Agencies manage allocated places for the SES masterclasses
- PSC manage places in the DG/DDG masterclasses and regional masterclasses

- Applying systems thinking to public problems
- Design by numbers – the art and science of data-driven policy design
- Bringing co-design to life – empowering citizens through policy design
- Leading with integrity – why your authenticity matters
Keynote presentations and panel discussions
- Unlimited access for SES (and equivalent)
- Targeted to senior Queensland public sector leaders
- Three sessions, one hour each, delivered online
- Recorded and made available broadly
Learning groups
- By invitation only
- Targeted to DDGs and some regional networks
