Designed with you, for you
In 2019 we set out to improve the news and events pages on For government. We wanted to improve the look, feel and ease of access to news and events content, and become the go-to site for Queensland Government employee information.
We used a human-centred design (HCD) approach to redesign the way readers and publishers use the page. We brought together stakeholders and publishing partners from across government in a co-design workshop where participants provided ideas and feedback on new design prototypes.
We followed up the workshop with a survey to test the new designs, and a card sorting activity to determine the new content categories.
The new design is a result of this work and a reflection of the input provided by our stakeholders and publishing partners.
