QSS’s email is changing to @hpw

Published 27/02/2019

Queensland Shared Services’ (QSS) email addresses are changing from the @dsiti.qld.gov.au domain to @hpw.qld.gov.au.

This includes personal, team, agency and shared email addresses. We’re also cleaning up shared mailboxes, closing any that we no longer regularly use.

The migration will run from 26 February to 31 March 2019.

What do you need to do?

We’ll stagger the migration, meaning you might receive QSS emails from both @dsiti and @hpw email addresses during this period. If you receive a QSS email from an @hpw domain, take note and make sure you use this for any future correspondence.

If you’re unsure what email to use, check the Find QSS email addresses page on For government. We’ll update this page with changes as they occur.

We’ll also notify you if we close a shared mailbox you have used.

Once we complete the email domain change, we’ll update our contact details in all the relevant systems.

Why are we changing our domain?

The most recent machinery-of-government changes abolished the Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation (DSITI). QSS moved to the Department of Housing and Public Works (HPW). As a result, we need to close the @dsiti.qld.gov.au domain and align to @hpw.qld.gov.au.
