The Public Service Commission (PSC) in partnership with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is offering each of the 21 government departments one regional scholarship as part of the Queensland Government’s commitment to building Queensland’s leaders of tomorrow, today.
The scholarships are offered on a 50% basis with one regionally based employee from each department eligible for a 50% scholarship in exchange for their agency funding the remaining 50%.
Delivered by QUT, the program provides aspiring public service leaders with the knowledge and skills to successfully manage the business of government and positions them for future leadership opportunities.
Graduates are awarded a Graduate Certificate in Business (Public Sector Management) and are eligible for credit or advanced standing into further post graduate programs, including QUT’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) or the Master of Business.
You’ll receive a scholarship covering 50% ($5,750) of your tuition fees ($11,500).
The remaining tuition fees of $5,750, as well as any required travel to and from workshops and accommodation, is not covered by the scholarship and will need to be covered by your agency.
