Property and Real Estate Services working group: BCM procurement

The Property and Real Estate Services Working Group (PRESWG) was formed to understand existing practice in the procurement of property and real estate services, then to drive improvements and uptake by all Queensland Government agencies involved.

The property and real estate services category includes:

• leasing of government residences through a private real estate agent to private tenants or non-government organisations
• land and property sales
• building appraisals for purchases
• property and rental valuation services.

Outcomes

The PRESWG leads initiatives to implement, communicate and drive the adoption of a strategic approach to procurement for the property and real estate services category.

Meeting frequency

Working group members are currently implementing approved initiatives in the sub-category plan. Working group meetings continue to be held as required.
