International Pride Month

About

As well as being a month-long celebration and recognition of how far we have come, Pride Month is also an opportunity to peacefully raise awareness of current issues facing the LGBTIQ+ community.

Queensland Government employees can look out for opportunities to link into existing events, panel discussions and online forums, and participate in rainbow-themed days and events. Think about how you can raise awareness of the history and importance of Pride Month, and further promote how you are supporting LGBTIQ+ employees in your agency.

Queensland Government employees can get involved by hosting morning teas, or contacting the LGBTIQ+ Steering Committee for information on webinars and online resources.
