About
Held annually on May 28, LGBTIQ Domestic Violence Awareness Day is the only day like it in the world. It aims to help end DFV within LGBTIQ communities, by increasing visibility through the annual awareness day campaign. Start a conversation and raise awareness about how the workplace supports people experiencing domestic or family violence and how these include people who identify as LGBTIQ+.
Raise awareness of the unique methods of power and control that may be experienced in LGBTIQ+ relationships and how to reduce any barriers to reporting. Consider using resources from the Queensland Government campaign and show that all people are supported and safe. We support our employees. #BeYou
