About

On May 17, 1990 the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems. IDAHOBIT celebrates LGBTIQ people globablly, and raises awareness for the work still needed.

Support LGBTIQ+ employees by recognising the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia. Wear rainbow, share stories and messages that highlight that different perspectives and the contributions of all employees are valued.

Visit www.idahobit.org.au for inspiration and resources to help you raise awareness and celebrate at work, including how to set up a great event – rainbow morning tea, online trivia night or engage a guest speaker. Consider communication to raise awareness, become an LGBTIQ+ ally or think about other ways to show that all people are welcome, supported and safe in our workplaces. We support our employees. #BeYou
