Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health Support Program
Virtual online training
We invite DES First Nations employees and participants of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander career pathways service from other agencies to join us in this 5 hour virtual training to ensure our First Nations people can support each other in the workplace, their family and community.
Every day we may come across somebody who needs a little help and understanding but doesn't know where to go for support. We are looking to bridge that gap by providing support to First Nations employees through this program and are offering a limited number of places for Career Pathway participants to attend.
This program is delivered online by Gallang Place and involves some pre-work, a 5 hour virtual face to face session as well as the option to complete an assessment for accreditation.
Registration is required 3 weeks prior to course dates. Please confirm the date you wish to attend upon registration. Please note dates may change.
