Can I get my consultation featured on the Get involved home page? Can I get my consultation featured on the Get involved home page?
Consultations can be featured on the Get involved home page but space is limited.
Email getinvolved@smartservice.qld.gov.au to request a feature. You will need to supply a 75 x 75 pixel image to display as a thumbnail.
Note: The Get involved team reserves the right to choose the most appropriate consultations to promote on the home page.
Can I use a third-party survey tool in Get involved? Can I use a third-party survey tool in Get involved?
You can include a link to survey that uses third-party software (e.g. SurveyMonkey) on a Get involved listing page with certain privacy provisions.
Read the Guidelines from the Office of the Information Commissioner before using another survey provider.
Note: The Get involved team does not provide any support for third-party software.
How long does it take to set up and publish a consultation? How long does it take to set up and publish a consultation?
If you are building a consultation page with a survey, we recommend allowing:
- a minimum of 2 business days to build and test your survey
- a minimum of 2 business days for the Get involved team to review and approve your consultation page.
- a minimum of 6 business days for the Get involved team to review and approve your consultation page with a public Get involved survey.

The Get involved team can email you a user guide to help you build your consultation pages and survey.

Smart Service Queensland (Department of Housing and Public Works) is responsible for managing the Get involved website and toolkit.
The Get involved team is available from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
